The intern will support the design, development, testing, and deployment of AI-enabled data analytics use cases for Internal Audit using PayU's internal capabilities, including the Toqan platform, enterprise data sources, and engineering support. The objective is to establish a scalable, sustainable, and internally owned analytics capability for continuous auditing, compliance monitoring, exception detection, and risk identification. We need the intern for minimum 6 months (Oct 26 – Mar 27). The upper cap will be INR 50k per month.

Key Responsibilities

1. Toqan-Based Use Case Development

  • Collaborate with Internal Audit, Engineering, Product, and business teams to develop data analytics use cases on the Toqan platform.
  • Translate audit requirements into analytical logic, workflows, and AI-enabled monitoring solutions.
  • Configure, test, validate, and optimize use cases before deployment.
  • Document data requirements, business rules, and exception logic for each use case.

2. AI & Advanced Analytics Implementation

Support the implementation of use cases as required by IA team

3. Data Engineering & Platform Integration

  • Build and test data pipelines connecting Toqan with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, AWS Data Lake, databases, and operational platforms.
  • Support automation of recurring audit analytics workflows.
  • Establish data quality validation and reconciliation checks.
  • Assist in creation of reusable analytics components and frameworks.

4. AI-Powered Audit Capability Development

  • Evaluate opportunities to leverage NLP, Gen-AI, and agent-based analytics solutions within Toqan.
  • Develop natural language interfaces for querying audit data.
  • Build anomaly detection, trend analysis, and predictive risk models.
  • Support development of automated exception reporting and continuous monitoring capabilities.

5. Testing, Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

  • Perform UAT and validate outputs against source systems.
  • Assist audit teams in interpreting analytics results.
  • Monitor deployed use cases and recommend enhancements.
  • Maintain technical and business documentation for implemented solutions.
  • Support measurement of value realization, including regulatory compliance improvements, risk reduction, and cost savings.
