Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing and a proven track record in the fintech domain. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our financial products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for PayU products.
- Lead the automation testing efforts by creating and maintaining robust automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure product quality.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Stay updated with the latest QA tools, trends, and best practices, especially in the fintech domain.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations relevant to financial services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
- Domain Expertise: Prior experience working in the fintech domain is highly preferred.
- Automation Skills: Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
- Programming Knowledge: Strong knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Testing Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Postman, Jenkins, and Git.
- API Testing: Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- CI/CD: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of security testing practices in fintech applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and security standards in the fintech industry.
