Job Title: Product Manager – Platform
Role Summary:
A Product Manager - Platform will act as a key orchestrator between cross-functional teams to build and manage platform-level products. The candidate will work on Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Loan Management Systems (LMS), Business Rules Engines (BRE) and comms platform . The role demands robust product management skills, technical proficiency, and strong collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive the product roadmap for platform-level systems, focusing on scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Business, Engineering, Design, and other teams to identify platform needs and deliver impactful solutions.
• Manage and enhance Loan Origination System (LOS) and Loan Management System (LMS) platforms.
• Ensure seamless integration and deployment of data pipelines to streamline data workflows and architectures.
• Collaborate on database solutions leveraging AWS for optimal system performance.
• Utilize SQL for hands-on querying, testing, and validation of data integrity.
• Conduct thorough testing and exploration of APIs using Postman.
• Maintain a well-rounded understanding of data engineering, data pipelines, and system architectures.
• Ensure compliance with business and technical goals, timelines, and objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
• SQL proficiency with hands-on experience in querying and data extraction.
• Strong understanding and experience with Loan Origination System (LOS) and Loan Management System (LMS).
• Expertise in data pipelines and data engineering workflows.
• Exposure to cloud-based DB solutions such Athena & AWS S3 and Working knowledge of API testing tools like Postman.
• Deep understanding of data architecture and system workflows.
- Domain Knowledge:
• In-depth knowledge of financial systems and processes in lending.
• Experience in designing and managing platform-level solutions for financial applications.
- Familiarity with Business Rules Engines (BRE), Credit Risk workflow & bureau related processes.
- Analytical and Problem-solving Skills:
• Ability to analyze complex processes and translate them into actionable features and improvements.
• Critical thinking with an innovative mindset to handle engineering and operational challenges effectively. - Soft Skills:
• Strong communication skills to align stakeholders, translate technical details to business-level understanding, and vice versa.
• Excellent collaboration abilities across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proactive problem-solving attitude with keen attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proven experience in building and managing financial analytics tools and dashboards.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Experience creating scalable and secure data platforms that adhere to compliance requirements.
