Assistant Manager - Sales
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager - Sales to support our sales team in achieving revenue targets and driving business growth. This role involves managing sales operations, coaching team members, and building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Management
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve monthly/quarterly targets
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management
- Support the Sales Manager in team leadership and daily operations
- Track sales metrics, pipeline management, and forecasting
Team Leadership
- Coach and mentor sales representatives to improve performance
- Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions
- Assist in recruitment and onboarding of new sales team members
- Support performance evaluations and goal setting
Customer Relations
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and prospects
- Handle escalated customer issues and ensure satisfaction
- Participate in client meetings and presentations
- Support contract negotiations and deal closures
Operational Excellence
- Ensure CRM systems are updated and maintained accurately
- Coordinate with marketing, operations, and finance teams
- Prepare sales reports, presentations, and analysis
- Support budget planning and territory management
