About the Role
We're seeking a seasoned media professional who can blend consultative selling with strategic partnership development to drive PayU's growth across agency clients. This role sits at the intersection of business development, agency relationship management, and strategic consulting, helping transform traditional client-vendor relationships into collaborative platform led partnerships.
About the Team
You'll join our Data insights team, a dynamic group of Data enthusiast , a media experts and business strategists who connect PayU's fintech solutions with leading media agencies and their clients across all sectors. Our team drives significant revenue through agency channels while establishing PayU as a thought leader in the evolving digital media and fintech landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting top-tier media agencies, with primary focus on new business opportunities
- Apply consultative selling techniques to identify client pain points and architect customized solutions that drive measurable business outcomes
- Build and nurture C-suite relationships within media agencies to secure long-term strategic partnerships
- Translate complex fintech solutions into compelling value propositions that resonate with media agency executives
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative co-marketing initiatives and thought leadership content for agency audiences
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets while maintaining high client satisfaction metrics
- Lead solution workshops and strategic planning sessions with agency clients
- Represent PayU at industry events and build the company's profile within the media agency ecosystem
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in media agencies, with demonstrated success in new business development or client growth roles
- Proven track record of consultative selling and solution design in agency or technology environments
- Deep understanding of media agency operations, challenges, and business models
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder negotiations
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate technical capabilities into business value
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field; MBA advantageous
- Established network within media agencies and broader advertising ecosystem
