About the Team
The Controllership team at PayU Payments is responsible for maintaining strong financial governance, accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial controls. The team works closely with internal stakeholders, auditors, regulators, and business teams to ensure timely and reliable financial information.
About the Role
We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Finance to join the Controllership team in Gurgaon. The role will support financial reporting, preparation of financial statements, audit requirements, regulatory reporting, and management information systems. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, and the ability to manage multiple reporting and reconciliation activities.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and support periodic financial statements and financial reporting.
- Work hands-on with SAP S/4HANA for finance and accounting activities.
- Coordinate and support statutory audits, internal audits, and other audit requirements.
- Assist with limited review activities and related documentation.
- Support external reporting and submissions to regulators.
- Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and management insights.
- Manage debt collection-related MIS and reconciliation activities.
- Perform ratio analysis and highlight key financial trends.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant with 0–1 year of relevant experience; or MBA in Finance with 4–6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and financial statement preparation.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Exposure to statutory audits, internal audits, and limited reviews.
- Understanding of regulatory and external financial reporting requirements.
- Experience in MIS preparation, dashboard creation, debt collection reporting, and reconciliations.
- Good analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
