About the Role

As a Manager/Assistant Manager - OPS GIB, you will play a key role in managing the end-to-end operations for merchant onboarding and lifecycle management. You will serve as the first point of contact for merchant queries, collaborating with various internal teams to ensure prompt, high-quality service delivery. This role offers an opportunity to make a real impact in one of the fastest-growing fintech companies, supporting merchants—especially in government and education sectors—in their journey with PayU.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve sales and basic merchant onboarding lifecycle queries efficiently
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve queries, especially from government and education merchants
  • Act as the primary point of contact for merchant-related queries from the Business Team
  • Ensure timely closure of activities related to merchant servicing
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver excellent customer support and satisfaction
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PayU’s payment gateway processes and flow
  • Leverage strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with merchants and partners
  • Utilize MS Excel and MS Office for daily operational tasks and reporting

 

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in operations, preferably within financial services or fintech industries
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and execution abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Team player with strong collaborative working style
  • Good understanding of payment gateway processes and merchant onboarding flow
