About the Role

 

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will help monitor, assess and improve PayU’s security environment. This role involves vulnerability management, incident response, security assessments, risk analysis ensuring compliance with internal policies, ISO 27001:2022 requirements, and DPDP. Perform security architecture reviews to ensure end-to-end compliance. You'll work with cutting-edge security tools and technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement robust security measures. The position offers excellent growth opportunities in the rapidly evolving cybersecurity field, with exposure to various security domains including threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Conduct regular security assessments and risk reviews across applications, infrastructure and cloud environments.
  • Support audit and compliance requirements including ISO 27001:2022, Information Security Policies, DPDP, PCIDSS, etc.
  • Work with an engineering team to review security controls in SDLC and ensure secure coding practices.
  • Maintain and improve security documentation, SOPs, and risk registers.
  • Conduct vendor risk assessments and security architecture review.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT security roles
  • Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
  • Understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001:2022, NIST, OWASP, GDPR/ DPDP.
  • Certifications: Security+ (CompTIA), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or GCIH preferred
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail for threat analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and stakeholder interaction
