UX Designer

About the Team

We design products that power real businesses and handle real money at scale. Our work directly shapes how merchants operate, grow, and trust PayU, making design a core driver of business outcomes. Rooted in user research, data, and close collaboration with product and engineering teams, designers here own problems end-to-end, from discovery to high-fidelity execution. As PayU moves toward an AI-first future, we’re actively shaping the next generation of interfaces that are innovative, practical, trustworthy, and built to scale.

About the Role

This is a high-impact product design role focused on shaping critical user experiences across PayU/Wibmo’s platforms. You will work on complex, real-world problems where design plays a central role in driving usability, trust, and business outcomes. The role offers end-to-end ownership, close collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the opportunity to influence how products are built and experienced at scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Own end-to-end design for high-priority, high-visibility product initiatives, from problem discovery to final execution.

  • Translate complex user needs, workflows, and business requirements into simple, intuitive, and scalable experiences.

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and Business partners to define problems, explore solutions, and deliver outcomes.

  • Contribute to and evolve shared design systems, patterns, and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across products.

  • Advocate for user-centered design while balancing usability, feasibility, and business goals.

  • Raise the overall quality bar through thoughtful critique, feedback, and mentorship within the design team.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in product design, UX design, or interaction design, working on digital products at scale.

  • Strong user empathy and experience designing complex workflows in fast-paced environments.

  • Ability to own design problems end-to-end and make informed trade-offs in ambiguous situations.

  • Solid collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders.

  • Strong foundation in interaction design and visual design, with attention to craft and detail.

  • Clear communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale.

  • Experience in fintech, payments, or B2B products is a plus, but not mandatory.
