About the Role:

The Onboarding Product Manager for PayU's Payment Gateway will be responsible for developing and managing the complete merchant onboarding experience. This role plays a critical part in shaping how merchants interact with PayU from the moment they express interest in our service. The focus will be on streamlining processes, enhancing product discovery, and ensuring a superior merchant experience

About the Team:

The Merchant Experience Team is entrusted with the pivotal task of shaping the comprehensive experience that PayU extends to its merchants. This journey encompasses every stage, beginning with the onboarding process, and includes product discovery, activation, retention, as well as cross-sell and upsell opportunities throughout the entire merchant lifecycle. Additionally, this team is accountable for ensuring the superior quality and efficacy of merchant services and communications.

Responsibilities:

• Merchant Onboarding: Design and refine the end-to-end onboarding process to ensure seamless integration with PayU’s payment gateway while maintaining minimal TATs and compliance with KYC guidelines. • Experience Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline the merchant experience for ease of use and quick adoption of PayU services. • Product Discovery & Activation: Facilitate product discovery and help merchants quickly realize the value of PayU’s offerings. • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and feedback, driving continuous improvements in merchant experiences. • Merchant Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication channels to provide merchants with guidance, support, and updates. • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Leverage data and analytics to inform product improvements and align decisions with merchant success

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in product management • Proven experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including Marketing, Business, Sales, Engineering, and Support teams • Ability to learn complex businesses very quickly, define problems accurately while paying attention to detail in the solution • Possess strong analytical/logical thinking skills and clarity of thought to identify and solve business problems • Ability to manage and multi-task under tight deadlines • Demonstrated leadership within and/or outside a work setting • Excellent communication skills. • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or information technology. An MBA is considered advantageous. • Pre-experience in Fintech and working knowledge of payment products is preferable.
