About the Role
The Head of Delivery is a leadership position that plays a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution and delivery of projects to large banks and Fintech (VISA, Mastercard, Rupay, NI and many more) globally across India, APAC and MEA for all Wibmo Products.
It is a multifaceted role and requires a unique combination of leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise. As the linchpin between clients, project teams, and organizational leadership, the Head of Delivery plays a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery/implmentation of projects and the overall success of the organization.
Ownership/Leadership Role: The Delivery and Customer Success leader plays an executive leadership role in scaling up the delivery center of excellence across regions where he/she seeks excellence in all customer success and relationships inclusive of new initiatives and projects and creates the required operational efficiencies.
Strategy: Responsible for business solutioning and thought leadership on Delivery for all the product lines. Working closely with the leadership peer group specifically Sales, Products, Business Solutioning and Engineering to expand Wibmo market share globally. Collaboration and Support: This role is a highly collaborative one. Success depends on working with the larger organization to meet the customer and company’s goals
Responsibilities:
Project Management Oversight: To ensure that projects are managed efficiently from initiation to completion. This involves overseeing project leaders and teams, monitoring project timelines,and ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards. Client Communication and Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong client relationships is a key aspect of the role. Act as a liaison between the client and the delivery team, ensuring that client expectations are met and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during the project.Trusted Advisor to client: Play the role of a trusted advisor to the bank by identifying and understanding the customer’s business challenges and needs and helping them best with the best solutions. Risk Management: Responsible for identifying and mitigating any potential risks that could impact project timelines or
deliverables. Implementing risk management strategies and contingency plans essential to navigate uncertainties effectively. Performance Metrics: Implementing performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for tracking project progress. Overseeing the creation and analysis of reports that provide insights into project performance, enabling data[1]driven decision making and measuring efficiency in the team.
Delivery Process Enhancement: Continuously improving delivery processes to meet evolving client needs and stay ahead of competition. Identifies areas for process optimization and works collaboratively with teams to implement improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness and results in customer success.
Upsell and Cross Sell: Identify new opportunities with the existing client and help upsell/cross Wibmo solutions/ Managed
Servicesto drive growth of current key account and enhance revenue and profitability.
People Management: Coaching and mentoring future leaders as part of the succession planning.Understanding of the skills required for various projects and be proactive in building a high performing skilled and motivated team
Requirements:
Minimum 20+ years of experience in Payment Industry with 10+ in a Delivery Head Role for Banking Tier-1 Management Institutions with a master’s degree in marketing, Business Management, Business Administration, IT and/or Product Management would be preferred.
A strong sense of Business Acumen in specific domain along analytical capability
Strong Project and Program Management Skills. Delivered large projects in Banks globally.
Strong customer facing and problem-solving skills. Client Network in India/SA and should have managed large projects for alteast one of the Global regions (APAC/MEA)
Ability to formulate real business problems under modelling framework and develop solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate complex modelling results, strategic vision and goals to business partners.
Demonstrated ability to work collaborate across a matrix organization partnering with analytics, product, technology, marketing and external vendors to execute delivery at top speed
