Key Responsibilities 

 

  • P&L Ownership: Drive profitability and growth for the Insurance Vertical through strategic planning, GTM execution, and collaboration with Product & Tech teams on innovative product launches.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Serve as IRDAI Insurance Principal Officer, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining all necessary certifications.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Lead collaboration across Product, Finance, Customer Service, and Operations teams to optimize category performance and customer experience.
  • Partnership Management: Maintain strategic relationships with insurance companies, serving as primary liaison and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Process Excellence: Develop, document, and continuously improve business processes, maintaining comprehensive records of issues and solutions.
  • Data-Driven Growth: Leverage analytics and market insights to identify growth opportunities and drive product/technology enhancements.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions.

 

Qualifications

 

Required:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in insurance partnerships, business management, or related roles
  • Proven experience of managing IRDAI regulatory responsibilities for Corporate Agent/Broker. Deep knowledge of Indian insurance regulations, IRDAI guidelines, and fintech ecosystem

 

Preferred:

  • Specialized experience in Health and Motor Insurance
  • Background in insurtech or digital insurance platforms
  • Experience with P&L management
