About the Role
This role involves drafting and negotiating complex agreements across technology, fintech, and intellectual property domains, with a focus on international exposure. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our business operations while ensuring comprehensive legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:
Contract Management & Drafting
- Draft and negotiate a wide variety of agreements covering technology, fintech, and intellectual property rights with international exposure.
- Develop and standardize framework documents and agreements for various products and offerings.
- Evaluate, vet, and negotiate Indian and international RFP documents on behalf of Wibmo for regulated entities across various jurisdictions.
Legal Risk & Compliance
- Deliver hands-on support to business and operations functions on legal matters.
- Provide support in drafting and implementing legal risk mitigation programs.
- Ensure Wibmo's compliance with local and international legislation and regulations applicable to the business.
- Devise / implement comprehensive contract management frameworks.
Strategic Legal Support
- Work closely with business, security, product, and operations teams to implement compliance requirements under contracts and applicable laws.
- Track evolving laws and regulations, providing regular updates to respective functions on applicable regulatory requirements.
- Monitor privacy law requirements in Indian and international settings and incorporating those in processes.
- Conceptualize, draft, implement, and support legal and compliance risk management programs.
Requirements:
Experience & Background
- 5-7 years of post-qualification legal experience.
- Some amount of law firm experience is highly preferred.
- EMEA experience will be viewed favourably.
- Experience working with B2B fintech or technology companies preferred.
- Proven experience in legal and compliance risk management programs.

- Strong communication skills with fluency in English (written and oral).
- Ability to work effectively in a highly dynamic environment.
