The StartUp Sales team operates with an entrepreneurial mindset, leveraging data-driven strategies and cutting-edge marketing technologies to identify, engage, and convert high-potential startup leads. About the Role:
Own and scale PayU’s high-trust founder and operator community across India. You’ll drive strategy, growth, engagement, and ecosystem-led pipeline while partnering closely with founders, product, GTM, and external partners.

Build and scale a high-quality founder community (early to growth stage)

Drive engagement, advocacy, and product adoption through programs and content

Generate qualified referrals and ecosystem-driven pipeline

Elevate PayU’s brand as a long-term fintech infrastructure partner
Responsibilities

Define and execute our community across online/offline channels
-
Curate founder-first programming, content, and thought leadership
-
Build and manage partnerships with VCs, accelerators, and SaaS partners

Host events/webinars and run campaigns that drive measurable adoption

Maintain high founder experience standards and responsive communication

Capture insights and feedback to inform product and GTM; report on KPIs
Requirements
-
4–6 years in community building, partnerships, or founder relations
-
Proven experience running private founder/operator communities end-to-end
-
Excellent written and verbal communication; content and recap/case writing
-
Strong operator mindset: fast response, high empathy, structured follow-through

Event production and stakeholder management experience

Data-driven with hands-on CRM hygiene

Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree; comfort with fintech (payments, compliance, cross-border, FinOps)

Willingness to travel for meetups and events

Relationships with VCs, accelerators, fintech operators

Experience in payments/fintech or B2B SaaS

Webinar/virtual event hosting; on-camera comfort
