About the Role 

We are looking for a strategic and innovative Director of Product Management to lead our product initiatives at PayU Finance. In this pivotal role, you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our product portfolio, ensuring that our offerings meet market needs and adhere to regulatory standards. You will lead a talented team of product managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional financial technology solutions that enhance customer experiences and drive business growth. 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute product strategies that align with business objectives, market demands, and customer feedback, ensuring a competitive edge in the fintech landscape. 

  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 

  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer pain points. Use insights to inform product development and positioning. 

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet user needs and regulatory requirements. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, compliance, and sales teams to ensure alignment on product goals and execution plans. 

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success post-launch. Make informed decisions to iterate on products based on user feedback and performance metrics. 

  • Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure all products comply with legal standards and regulations. Collaborate with legal teams to mitigate risks associated with product development. 

 

Requirements: 

 

  • Experience: 12+ years of experience in product management within the fintech industry(BNPL Must Have), with a proven track record of successfully launching products at scale. 

  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership experience with the ability to build, develop, and motivate a creative team while driving alignment across various functions. 

  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of financial technology products, regulatory environments, user experience design principles, and agile methodologies. 

  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze data effectively to drive product decisions and measure success. 

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate product vision and strategy clearly across all levels of the organization.
